For vinyl, LVT, LVP, PVC & linoleum floors we recommend you use our Bona Hard-Surface Cleaner.
What is the difference between Bona Wood Floor Cleaner and Bona Hard Surface Floor Cleaner?
Both the Bona Wood Floor Cleaner and the Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner leave no dulling or sticky residues behind. Both are also GREENGUARD GOLD Certified for indoor air quality. Bona is committed to manufacturing the “best formula” for your specific flooring type. Our cleaner formulations for wood or stone, tile, and laminate floors are designed to work best on each of those specific floor types.
How should the cleaners and polishes be diluted?
Unless the packaging states that it is a concentrate Bona cleaners and polishes are ready-to-use and should not be diluted.
This was my first time using Bona, and the floors appear sticky and streaky, did I do something wrong?
Multipurpose cleaners are known for leaving behind residues which in time can cause floors to look dull. When switching to a Bona cleaner this residue starts to dissolve, creating tackiness or spots. When this occurs, just continue to use the Bona cleaner until the stickiness disappears. Depending on how long the previous products were used, this could take some time. Start testing in an inconspicuous spot first. Rinse or change the Bona Cleaning Pad frequently!
Why is Bona considered “Best in Test”?
In an independent lab test in 2015, KTA– Tator, Inc., tested 11 European wood floor cleaners against Bona Wood Floor Cleaner. The test involved the automated removal of a proprietary dirt and grime substance from Leneta panels using the manufacturer-recommended dilution and cleaning instructions. Each panel was rated for dirt and grime removal, with Bona outperforming the 11 competitors.
